Softworld is looking for a Sr. Trade Operations Analyst to join our client's Trade Operations Department.
Direct-Hire
Local to Boston Candidates only, 2 days/ week onsite work in Boston, MA expected**
Responsibilities:
· Support tactical initiatives and daily responsibilities of the operations business unit.
· Contribute to multiple technology initiatives including implementation of systems
· Collaborate or identify continuous improvement opportunities within Trade Operations department.
· Work closely with portfolio management, compliance, and trading teams to support day-to- trading operations
· Adhere to firm’s operational policies and practices, in addition to established processing controls and procedures
· Produce timely and accurate metrics and other analytical reporting for Portfolio Management, Trading and other internal and external stakeholders
Education and Experience Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience in operations, including trade settlement and cash management, position reconciliation, security reference data maintenance, and corporate actions
· Strong technical background and the ability to work independently
· Experience with SQL is also required
· Experience with various asset classes including ETF’s, equities, fixed-income securities, and derivatives
· Solid working knowledge of Excel, macros, database queries, and database reports
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Experience writing procedures/documentation
· Ability to work well within groups both large and small
