Job Description

Scope: The Business Analyst works very closely with all stakeholders including business customers, and internal resources in order to facilitate team communication and achieve the team’s mission. Building a close working relationship with business partners is the key to ensure ultimate success. 
Requirements:

  • Ensure scheduled priorities are met

  • Lead the business analysis efforts for requirements elicitation and development prioritization

  • Elicit business needs and describe them in the form of User Stories and Acceptance Criteria

  • Assist the business to identify opportunities for improvements in its processes and products

  • Ensure stakeholders, including  other squad members, have a clear understanding of the business’ need and requirements

  • Document business processes and helps identify improvements

  • Organize and document supporting detailed requirements

  • Provides thorough analysis of issues & solutions

  • Follows and works to continuously improve Agile practices and team performance

  • Builds a close working relationship with business partners to ensure ultimate success

  • Communicate with internal and external customers

  • Assist with coordinating and performing UAT testing

    • Deep understanding of P&C claim lifecycles

    • Bachelor’s Degree and/or 5+ years of equivalent experience related to Commercial P&C Insurance

    • Experience with Policy Administration in commercial P&C

    • Very nice to have - experience in multi-functional customer facing web portals with a focus on user experience and journey
