SAP Supply Chain Analytics Analyst



SAP Supply Chain Analytics Analyst will collaborate with business stakeholders, consultants to help design, develop, deploy and support solutions in SAP S/4HANA, SAP SAC and any associated bolt-on's to meet business unit needs for Supply chain reporting needs and Master Data Management business processes under the guidance of Planning & Analytics Manager. The incumbent will also play a critical role in supporting the developing architecture and implementation of SAP S4HANA within the operating subsidiaries and the holding company for Terumo in North and South America.



Architecture of SAP Solution

Supply Chain Analytics:
  • Collect and understand business reporting and information requirements in Supply chain space
  • Develop periodic supply chain analyses nodes and publishes the proactive findings to the business
  • Understand the "as is" reporting requirements to properly prioritize and streamline the number of reports to be developed
  • Facilitate working sessions to define and prioritize required reports and performance metrics
  • Create and manage an inventory of required reports and validate with business and corporate leadership
  • Understand the "out of the box" reports in BI and S4 systems. Make sure that all requirements do not translate into a specific development and determine most appropriate reporting tool
  • Work on BI reports development, test and deploy working with process & development teams under the guidance of Supply Chain Leader.
  • Participate in organization design / master data working sessions. Coordinate with process teams to ensure that the ERP design will enable reporting requirements
  • Assists in developing weekly status reports and communicate status, risks and issues
  • Develops technology landscape to connect various sources for cross-system supply chain reports
  • Work with IT Leaders, SAP COE Leaders, PMO, (external) Consulting Team and (internal) Core Business Team for the successful design, configuration, unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing of the SAP S/4HANA implementation.
  • Work with the IT Leaders, SAP COE Leaders, PMO, Project Team and Business stakeholders to proactively and effectively communicate and collaborates with the User Community to address SAP needs and requirements across all operations in the Americas.
  • Support the building of and effectively manage Integration Points between SAP S/4HANA and other TC systems.
  • Help Perform risk assessments of enterprise apps and work closely with project teams on building/configuring applications security.
  • Create clearly defined Instructions and Structured Documentation to track and control project scope.
  • Develop User Documentation in cooperation with the Consultants and Core Business Team.



Ongoing Support & Maintenance:
  • Take ownership for the Global Process Design Template, Configuration, Test Scripts and other associated work products related to "Supply Chain Analytics" to ensure effective control over changes required for localization or legal requirements.
  • Adheres to the policies, standards & baselines to ensure consistency
  • Establish processes, methods and tool for data maintenance request
  • Apply processes and tools to support the SLA(s) established by the Master data operations team to the various business units. Monitor and report on the SLA adherence
  • Support SAP COE in testing and validation efforts related to Maintenance Patches, Version Upgrades and integration on New Bolt-on Applications from time to time as required.
  • Respond to User Help Desk tickets for disposal of service requests from business users.



Position Requirements:
  • Strong SAP BW/4 HANA background & ability to provide solution to BI requirements
  • Hands on Experience building SAP BW Reports using SAC, BobJ, Bex Analyser and embedded Analytics.
  • Very good experience is BW data modelling and conversant with standard BW data models of Sales, Finance, Manufacturing and Planning modules.
  • Possess experience building CDS views, Fiori dashboards, Mobile reports. Conversant with Data analytics Hub and SAC applications.
  • Possess experience of SLT, replication of data from various sources and third party applications like MES, Success factors, etc.
  • Strong analytical ability to understand the reporting requirements and the resulting implications for the process teams and ERP design
  • Project management, team leadership and communication skills
  • Software: Strong knowledge of SAP Suite of Products and their latest versions Exposure to Cloud
  • Broad and deep experience in SAP Enterprise Information Management solutions, application and technical knowledge of SAP Master data models in finance, procurement, supply chain and other back office operations.
  • Broad and deep understanding with experience on various business processes supported by SAP ERP (ECC or S4/HANA) SAP SAC
  • Some familiarity with FDA CFR Part 11 Software Validation processes
  • Basic understanding of ABAP and debugging ABAP code

Experiences:
  • Bachelor's degree in any process area, (e.G., Finance, Supply Chain, etc.) with professional certification preferably in SAP SAC or BI
  • Multiple Years of Experience in Medical Device / Life Sciences Industry is preferable.
  • Major large, complex multi country end to end SAP transformation programs
  • 5 years of experience in analytics with 2 years of proven record of accomplishment as Analytics Lead of large and complex SAP business-system transformation programs.
  • Must have had experience implementing analytics and reports solutions for SAP ECC / S4 HANA and other integrated applications such as Integrated Business Planning, S4, PP/DS, non SAP systems like Hyperion, Sales Force



Top 3 Required Skills
  • 5-7 years' Business Intelligence, Reporting and Analytics experience with in-depth knowledge of Supply Chain Management (SCM) business functions and processes, hands on PowerBI reports or other SAP BI/Report tools - Business Objects (BOBJ), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP BI/BW
  • Experience designing, implementing, configuring and managing Supply Chain Management (SCM) reporting solutions in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, and other integrated applications.
  • Previous experience with SAP BW Reports using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), BOBJ, Bex Analyzer and embedded Analytics, BW data modelling and building CDS views, Fiori dashboards, Mobile reports, etc.



% Breakdown of Responsibilities:
  • 50% Project work - Work with Leadership, PMO, Project Team and Business stakeholders and collaborates with the User's and collect/document requirements, migrate reports from Oracle to PowerBI, generate new reports, etc.
  • 50% support & troubleshooting - modify existing reports, respond to user's service requests & questions, etc.



FTE/Perm

Salary

$140k (will consider someone above $140k based on skills and experience) + 10% annual bonus - 50/50 company-individual performance (Terumo has paid out over 100% the last 2-3 years)



Worksite location

265 Davidson Ave. Somerset, NJ 08873 - hybrid 2-3 days a week onsite and occasional travel to other corp sites may be required
