Operations Program Manager

The position is needed for a Program Manager that has experience delivering enterprise strategic business initiatives. 
The ideal candidate will have project delivery experience in consumer/retail banking

Job Summary: 

Provides direction, leadership and resources to ensure successful implementation planning, solution preparation, delivery to the field, and measurement of banking division project initiatives that are highly complex and strategic in nature and which may include actives associated with strategic change management, product initiatives, process re-engineering, establishment of control procedures, and bank conversions/de-conversions and/or mergers. Establishes strategic implementation plans with operations project managers and banking division sponsors that coordinate change activities and creatively solve problems. 

Job Duties & Responsibilities: 

¦ Manages the execution of projects in accordance with the organization's project management methodology. Develops, prioritizes, and submits project plans, budgets and methodologies across a range of key projects. Defines project resources, performance reviews and post- implementation evaluations. 
¦ Works with operations project managers to define project goals, design appropriate communications, business process models, and and/or timing for implementation. Assists in determining size, scope, impacts, risk, budget, and strategy for initiatives that are corporate-wide. Provides requirements, tools, direction, and oversight to banking divisions performing their own project solution preparation to ensure standards are met. 
¦ Leads the most complex or critical projects; monitors progress and performance against the project plan. Identifies and resolves operational problems and minimizes delays. Evaluates and authorizes changes that significantly impact the scope, budget or timeline of a project. Selects and manages ongoing relationships with external vendors/contractors so that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service. 
¦ Monitors performance of implemented solutions and continuously improves project management capabilities. Interacts frequently with banking division stakeholders and senior management demonstrating influence and negotiation. Leads, directs, evaluates and develops a team of project managers to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and according to project specifications. 
¦ Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion. 
¦ Performs other related duties as required. 

Required Qualifications: 

¦ Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field 
¦ Minimum Experience: Eight (8) years of project management experience with three years in a leadership role OR an equivalent combination of education and experience 
¦ Certification(s): Project Management Professional (PMP) 
all fruitful sources for answers; can see hidden problems; is excellent at honest analysis; looks beyond the obvious and doesn't stop at the first answers
