Project Manager to oversee +10 projects.  Each of the 10+ projects have an owner and SMEs working on them today.  This individual would need to oversee the execution/remediation of each project.  For the most part, these projects are recommendations by Internal Audit related to areas such as infrastructure, vulnerability & patch management, configuration of network devices, IPS/IDS, monitoring of anti-virus/DLP, SDLC, disaster recovery planning, etc.  This person wouldn’ t need to be the SME of each topic, or the person remediating, but must have general IT knowledge enough to advise and validate the project alignment with expectations, timing and sustainability.

Responsibilities:
  • Develops project plans to meet prescribed objectives.
  • Identifies and implements solutions resolving issues to maintain timelines and achieve agreed upon deliverables.
  • Serves as liaison between team members and functional area management.
  • Gathers and disseminates information.
  • Coordinates activities and resources for assigned projects.
  • Monitors risk factors, issues, actions items and progress.
  • Prepares reports for management.
  • Participates in project meetings; follows up on deliverables, coordinating potential issues, documenting policies, procedures and communications for the project.
  • Establishes rapport with all parties in an attempt to diffuse tension. Confronts the issue, not the person
  • Creates a good working environment in the team; works towards shared goals contributing ideas and accepting change Provides assistance and coaches less experienced team members
  • Probes in-depth to understand the customer’ s business needs. Explores and understands the customer's alternatives and decision criteria
  • Follows through to meet commitments to others Takes responsibility for achieving strong results, despite balancing multiple complex demands
  • Communicates in a timely and straightforward manner. Probes for additional information, clarifies assumptions and confirms agreed-upon actions. Keeps everyone involved informed about progress and issues
  • Identifies the component parts of a complex situation or problem and the relationship among variables that are not obvious
  • Understands specific financial and accounting standards to identify and assess the impact and likelihood of operational risks
  • Understands the relevant products and services and the markets in which they are sold and their risk return to the organization. Can identify and speak to major operational issues across the organization
