Job Description:
  • As a System Administrator at SEB Professional North America, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our IT infrastructure.

Your role includes:
  • Server Management: Maintain and configure Windows and Linux servers.
  • Network Administration: Oversee network security, firewall management, and VPN setup.
  • Hardware and Software Support: Provide technical support for hardware and software issues.
  • Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage backup and recovery solutions.
  • User Management: Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain system documentation and IT policies.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with IT team members on projects and improvements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in system administration.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Highly organized, Excellent Communication skills, Team player, and close attention to detail;with excellent multi-tasking skills.
  • Administration and troubleshooting in the following areas:
  • Office 365 architecture
  • Server and Workstation Administration
  • Active Directory
  • Group Policies
  • Patching with WSUS
  • SCCM
  • Software Deploy/Inventory
  • Hardware and Inventory Management
  • Server and Application Alerting System
  • Helpdesk Ticketing System
  • Knowledge in ITIL Best Practice (Preferred)
  • PowerShell (Preferred)
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) are a plus.

This job does have some physical demands as well. Can you:
  • Standing, walking, and sitting at a desk.
  • Heavy computer and phone use.
  • 10% of work is in a Manufacturing Environment with a high noise level, and employees, when working in that area, will be required to wear PPE.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
