Endpoint Management Engineer
90% Remote - 10% on site in Washington D.C
Pay Rate: $55/hr
The Endpoint Management Engineer will be responsible for the configuration and implementation of Microsoft Intune for both Windows 11 and iOS endpoints on a new Microsoft 365 tenant.
The Endpoint Management Engineer will deploy and configure the infrastructure required to utilize Windows Autopilot for modern deployment methodologies. They will work with our existing team to identify and deploy device policies on all endpoints, ensuring compliance and working to address non-compliant devices. They will configure and implement software and app white- and blacklists, software and app deployments, and applicable updates.
• Deploy and maintain Microsoft Intune for Windows 11 and iOS endpoints
• Deploy and utilize Windows Autopilot for automation
The Endpoint Management Engineer will be responsible for the following:
Windows endpoint deployment and refresh
• Establish a process for frequent large batch device refresh and on/off boarding
• Establish and ensure compliance against endpoint policies
• Software and app management and updating across all endpoints
• Reporting on endpoint inventory, compliance, status, and ad-hoc
• Documenting environment configuration and endpoint baselines
Requirements:
• BA or BS or equivalent experience is required
• 3-6 years’ experience with managing endpoints utilizing Microsoft
technologies (SCCM, Intune, Endpoint Manager), and iOS devices (Apple Business Manager)
* Ability to work Remote
• Experience configuring and managing Windows Autopilot
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels including the executive level
• Effective interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating and team building
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
