Credit Card Specialist

6-month contract-to-hire

 

We are searching for a Credit Card Specialist to join our team in Bethesda, Maryland. The Credit Card Specialist will be responsible for administering the federal travel card program.  The candidate must have experience managing a major credit card program either on the bank side or the company side (400 cards or more); preferably someone with GSA SmartPay experience or experience as an Agency/Organization Program Coordinator.   The candidate must be a quick learner with exceptional skills interfacing with customers. 



Required Qualifications and Skills:
  •           5+ years of experience in customer support activities
  •           3 years' experience with travel systems- federal government travel preferred, but commercial is acceptable
  •           3 years' experience working with credit card systems (e.g., reviewing credit card invoices, reconciling credit charges against invoices)
  •           1-2 years' as a team lead
  •           Experience in generating multiple reports on credit card usage and charges
  •           Citibank systems experience and a working familiarity with Regulation W
  •           MS Excel at the advanced level to include spreadsheet development and production, applying formulas, pivot tables, sorting data, charting and graphing data and basic analysis
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills  

 

Desired Qualifications and Skills:
  •           GSA SmartPay2 knowledge
  •           Credit Card Compliance Officer
  •           Knowledge of government credit card regulations, policies & procedures
  •           Experience with Visa CitiManager (system of record)
  •           Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  •           Be able to read data and analyze it
  •           Ability to lead and work with a team
  •           Attention to detail, accuracy and organization
