Job Description
Installs and maintains cloud-based applications, systems, or associated infrastructures. Job Duties: Analyzes and defines business requirements to determine specifications and standards; proposes and develops solutions. Deploys and oversees implementation and integration of web-based applications, ensuring that appropriate information security standards are met. Maintains reports, logs, or other records of security audits. Monitors system uptime and performance, troubleshooting and resolving errors. Stays informed of emerging cloud technologies and evaluates their value to the organization's operations. Requires experience with one or more cloud computing platforms. Experience and Education: Performs work under minimal supervision. Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter. Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group. Typically requires BA and 5-7 years.
This role is 100% remote.
Lead cloud adoption efforts that span multiple disciplines
Design and deploy highly scalable and resilient cloud services
Ability to promote and develop 'Automation First' mentality and culture within team and business line.
Collaborate with product and program management to ensure solutions meet customer needs
Partner with product development groups to align software and systems strategy
Create reusable templates/modules for automating code delivery
Create automation tests to appropriately test delivery mechanisms
Implement design and security principles through code development and code review
Implement automated strategies for system monitoring, deployment, and scaling
Create and maintain AzureAD, users, applications, and subscriptions information.
Ensure services maintain compliance with defined security standards (FedRAMP, PCI, NIST, CJIS)
Experience administrating various cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
Experience supporting Linux based operating systems and environments.
Provides best practices, standards, training, and general support for the cloud environment
Participate in a weekly on-call rotation to ensure highest levels of system availability.
Work with peers to assign, prioritize and complete product backlog
Mentor and train other team members in cloud adoption and cloud processes.
Required Skills
5 years of sysadmin experience deploying enterprise grade servers and systems
Proven experience delivering and maintaining environments with infrastructure as code (i.e. Terraform, Azure DevOps, CloudFormation)
Experience with CICD framework process and associated tools (i.e. GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins)
Experience configuration management tools (i.e. Ansible, PowerShell, Chef, Packer)
Desire and willingness to learn new cloud technologies and continue growing
Deep technical knowledge supporting Windows and Linux operating systems
Ability and desire to solve new problems with minimal guidance
US Citizenship
The ability to pass a state or Federal background check
